Merry Christmas!
well, First of all I'd like to share what I got for Christmas.
"Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks"
"Guiness World Records: The Video Game"
"insignia Camcorder"
a new coat
and 5 packs of "stride" gum
but Christmas hasn't been as jolly as it could have been, Christmas day we had a HUGE blizzard, and guess who had to spend 4 hours shoveling/snow-blowing the driveway and walk, if you guessed anyone other than me and the old man, you're wrong.
of course, I haven't been using my gifts as much as my brother, who got "Super Mario Galaxy" (beat it today) and "Force Unleashed" (only when I get tired of playing the other games).
I'll see if I can get anything Christmas-y up, perhaps Bowser in a Santa hat, I dunno.
In other news...
coat works beautifully
let me give you the run-down on what these games are like.
Spirit Tracks: It's nice to have a new Zelda game, but i get bored of it easily so I haven't played it allot, but it's pretty repetitive of Phantom Hourglass, there's phantoms walking around the building where you get map parts. sound familiar? there's still those areas where you can't be noticed by the phantoms, but thankfully there is no time limmit. instead of a boat you get a train, that eventually gets a cannon to shoot bombs at enemies, almost exactly like Phantom Hourglass, but this time you get Ghost-Zelda by your side, who can take over the body of the other phantoms and distract them while you sneak past. 3.5/5
Guinness World Records: a little cartooney, but there is plenty of things you can do, there are achievments if that means if that means anything to you, but they don't do anything, some of them unlock clothes and accesories but that's it. with each area comes one event to play, and if you've gained enough money you can purchase the next event to play. while it's very annoying that after every time you play a certain event(even if you did horribly and are going to try again) you are surrounded by popperatzi (however you spell that) for a good 10 seconds. no plot, no challenge, not bad, not great. 3/5
Super Mario Galaxy: I suggest renting this for a week, cause when you beat it, chances are you'll never play it again. really long, really fun, a good challenge. 4.5/5
good enough for yah? I hope so. cause this is the end.
